BNEN, the Belgian Nuclear higher Education Network

BNEN, the Belgian Nuclear higher Education Network, is a master-after-master academic programme in nuclear engineering, organised through a consortium of six Belgian universities and SCK•CEN, the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre.

BNEN is a joint effort to maintain and further develop a high quality programme in nuclear engineering in Belgium

Programme

The condensed - 60 ECTS in one year, including a master thesis - programme allows the students to acquire all necessary scientific and technical background and skills to develop a career in the field of nuclear applications.

The lectures are taught at the premises of SCK•CEN in Mol, Belgium. The laboratory exercises make use of the nuclear facilities of SCK•CEN and are organised by SCK•CEN scientists. Various technical visits are organised to research and industrial nuclear facilities.

ENEN

BNEN courses are offered within the ENEN association. ENEN, the European Nuclear Education Network, is a non-profit organisation aiming at preserving nuclear education and expertise.
