Afternoon programme:

  • Technical visit to nuclear facility of your choice, check website for more information (Bring your identity card)
    • LHMA (Laboratory for High and Medium level Activity where the effects of irradiation on materials used in actual and future nuclear installations are evaluated,

    • Hades (Laboratory at a depth of 225 meters underground which allows the study of deep clay as an option for the disposal of long-lived and high-active nuclear waste,

    • BR2 (A materials test reactor which is one of the most powerful research reactors in the world,

    • Belgoprocess (A company specialized in the treatment, condition and storage of radioactive materials and the decommission of old nuclear installations,

    • FBFC (the world's first producer of Pressurized Water Reactor fuel assemblies, based on enriched uranium (UO2) and of Enriched Reprocessed Uranium (ERU).

Evening programme (17u30 – 23u):
