Advanced courses
Objective
The elective and/or advanced topics are an essential part of the post-graduate programme for Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering.
An elective/advanced course either deepens or broadens a certain topic treated in the classical courses
Academic responsibility
The academic responsibility for the elective/advanced course lies with ULB, Professor Pierre-Etienne Labeau.
Student choice
At the beginning of the academic year the Teaching Committee offers a menu of elective and advanced topics.
The student communicates his choice to the BNEN secretariat before October 15 by means of the course selection form.
Students may submit motivated proposals to follow elective or advanced courses, outside of the menu offered.
The Teaching Committee decides on the eligibility of the proposal and the attributed number of ECTS.
Reporting
Within 6 weeks after the event, students prepare a report of 10 to 30 pages
The report has to be communicated to Professor Pierre-Etienne Labeau of the Université Libre de Bruxelles and to the BNEN secretariat.
